livestreams in quarantine

Ben Harris This is a truly unique and ever surprising collection of songs. It's simultaneously sneering and cutthroat as Velvet Acid Christ, AND aglow with Ladytron's austere gorgeousness, AND haunted by The Knife's weirdly contemporary pagan chilliness, AND body rocking as Arnaud Rebotini. It's really properly good stuff. Favorite track: Incognito (Now I'm See Through).
Hecatay

Hecatay discovering this group has made my quarantine during a pandemic better than it would have been otherwise. their music is just so sexy. Favorite track: Fog The Pane (Window pt 1).

This is how Xibling should be heard.I don't think any of their studio recordings are even comparable to the live sound that you get.I don't know what the shortcoming is, but their organic sound is where it's at. Maybe, record your songs in the studio with all your friends in the room, because performers give a better performance when eyes are on them, it's psychologically a fact and these two ARE performance artists. Favorite track: Room Alone (The Hermit IX).

roengli As I mentioned on FB, the medium of live streaming was made for you. Visually and aurally arresting. Looking forward to lots more Favorite track: Mall of America (Bury Me).

Place me palatial on display In the temple of the food court hungrily they will pay just to see me change Bury me in the mall of America incite them on surround sound stereo riot mob till you say it’s time to close, if you just Bury me in the mall of American lust And my time is sold out They’re in line for the roll out Of the brand new model decompose my body Falsities fall away dead as meat fleeting flesh, sweetest breath that finishes finally.

I want to smile on the pile of all my lost things like dead leaves in spring. set fire to the choir singing hymns of heaven as they burn the garden down I have breathed in church I have breathed your name I have breathed in poison and renounced the same I renounce your name built in religious tribute wealth to something smaller than myself forget our monolithics for god is microscopic

Sunshine can't reach me here, if only I could see
Planets in axis with everything I need
Nighttime eternal, your dreams are what I eat
 Cross pollination, sodomy and sleaze.
Solstice to stasis, I only beg of this the rest of my lifestyle I wouldn’t even miss
a moment of silence for one more parting kiss
then blackhole surrender to winter's muted drift
I need a plague I can survive
with a simpler world in stride

Tension presenting to whisper passwords in
the drum of your earache to make blind pupils spin
disguised as a fish for a spinal fluid swim
silver tongued and sweetly, flippant as a fin.
Surrender pretender and rend this ending hymn
corruption abruptly curbs your upward swing
to culture from creature, sadistic song of sin
self-loathing enclosing like summer on your skin
I need a plague I can survive
with a simpler world in stride

The dust of old muscles you one used to win
 now crumbles around you and chokes you like human;
the creature who strangles; the ape around your neck
dead cells and cracked bells, R -evolution laid to rest
There's history in blistering, shedding heads of hair
no mystery in melt down sea's, nor the power once held there
fistfuls of poisoned men on beaches in the sun
fitful, we who feed on the bullets in your gun
I need a plague I can survive
with a simpler world in stride

what am i looking for? rolling my digital snake eyes, Unending loaded dice. shedding no skin, swallowing cordless mice. what am i looking for? falling down the rabbit hole, landing no wonder though, just down down down i scroll. what am i looking for? there is nothing here, but it feels all too dimensional. dimming in deals advertisements to let them steer the anxiety rushes up, a cold wind rattling the pages of my face. that's how i know my place orientation. indirect contact, directing my case. predatory blending, lending meaningless tastes. contrast sensation; causation correlation. i treasure my perception. dopamine injection. i remember i buried it somewhere... was it just a little further down there? what am I looking for, again?

lost and blind dance to the cries
conducted like light for uh another's eyes

Synthpunk from Portland, Oregon

"Rather than rehashing ideas already explored, Xibling assembles their music from the core components that made eclectic synth music exciting during the 80s, while diving headlong into the 21st-century avant-garde."
